Stephen Layton's most recent release Choral Works - Stanford has entered the Specialist Classical Chart at No.1.

Recorded with The Choir of Trinity College Cambridge, the disc was released on the Hyperion Records label at the beginning of July.

Choral Masterpieces of Arvo Pärt

To launch the 2017 International A Capella Choral Competition, the combined forces of the Holst SIngers, members of The Gesualdo Six and Sansara (Winners of IACCC 2015) took to the stage of London's St John's Smith Square on Sunday 25th June.  

Under the baton of Stephen Layton, the singers performed Arvo Pärt's choral masterpiece Passio.

Tune into BBC Radio 3 at 7.30pm on Wednesday 11th January to hear Stephen Layton conducting Bach's B Minor Mass live from Trinity College Chapel.

A stellar cast of soloists and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlgihtenment join Trinity College Choir as they they launch Trinity College's celebrations of the 700th anniversary of King's Hall, which went on to become part of Trinity College, Cambridge.
